places for my thoughts!
pancake and waffle have been doing really good lately! they were very happy to have me home for the long weekend! my babies are so so so sweet and layed with me on the couch while i worked on some extraciricular projects. i think they really like the heat of my laptop, because both of them love to brush up against it while i work! speaking of work, i'm really, really glad i have such an amazing team. i wouldn't be able to do anything my supervisor does... ms, if you're reading this, how the hell do you think he does it? ms, you can stop reading now... as i complain about yet another nightmare. it's been getting worse lately, and honestly, i'm about to start putting crystals under my pillow or something. if you have any tips or ticks, share them on my guestbook, please! xoxo m
it's my parent's wedding anniversary this week! i was going through photos with them and we were talking about my childhood and the early days of their marriage... they practically pre-programmed the way i am! who could've imagined giving your child a geeky name (spock's mom, they have taste!) could set them up for a life living in the most technologically advanced future?!? they raised me on a lot of space stuff: star trek, recorded NASA launches, etc... it's a wonder i'm still down on earth!
this week i've been thinking about the thrill of the chase. for those of you who know me because of my research into ptp (what a thing that's been), i'm sure you'll know that i'm a bit of a treasure hunter… it's in my nature, i think!! my cats and i have that in common. i the elusive and unreal, them the feather on a stick and also loose yarn on my sweaters. i'm not sure if it's everyone that feels this way, or if maybe i just like rooting around.
re-working my code, so some of my older entries have to go away for now. they'll be back soon!
